Regular Tasks:

• DESIGN IDEATION for current and advanced vehicle projects (including creation of 2D proposals and 3D proportion models, analog hand sketching, Photoshop, etc.).

• DESIGN DEVELOPMENT and refinement of shortlisted design proposals (considering package).

• EXCHANGING INPUT and information with 3D sculptors and engineers (visual/verbal communication).

• REVIEW & FOLLOW THE DEVELOPMENT of 2D and 3D proposals (creating input and giving clear feedback to the project team via presentations, annotations, sketches, and sections).

• IMPLEMENTATION of all package and feasibility inputs on the design theme or proposing alternatives (including regulations, cost factors, suppliers, and technical requirements).

• COMMUNICATION, REVIEWS, AND ALIGNMENT with diverse departments.

• BENCHMARKING & RESEARCH.

• DETAIL DESIGN of components (e.g., lamps, rims, grille meshes).

• DOCUMENTATION of the complete design process, change actions, issue summaries, and meeting minutes.

• SUPPORTING AND ADVISING the team in solving open issues.

• OBTAINING FINAL DESIGN CONFIRMATION from the supervisor to complete the project.

• MODEL MAKING and/or supervision of scale and full-size models.

• PREPARING AND PRESENTING design work in internal design reviews and project meetings.

AUTHORITIES

• Decision-making authorities:

  • CHOOSING design tools for the ideation process (provided quality standards are met).

  • CONSTANT EVALUATION and refinement of design proposals.

  • PRIORITIZATION and personal time management for different tasks/projects.

  • REQUESTING support from studio engineers in order to resolve technical issues.

  • PROPOSING ALTERNATIVE design ideas, storylines, mood boards, and solutions once the main request is satisfied.

  • ESCALATING TOPICS to the supervisor.

• Managerial authorities:

  • Requesting vacation or sick leave.

  • Requesting necessary equipment/software.

  • Requesting reviews or personal sessions with supervisors.

  • Setting up meetings and inviting relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and propose fresh ideas.

• Remain aligned with the project team and keep them informed of activities.

• Translate ideation into feasible results.

• Consider and resolve package inputs/facts.

• Consider aerodynamics and thermal management.

• Rework/improve designs as often as needed, but efficiently.

• Maintain clear and regular communication/input exchange with 3D sculptors.

• Correctly follow inputs from reviews and project leaders.

• Present ideas in the best possible visual and logical way.

• Thoroughly compare new statuses with old statuses to understand effects.

• Ensure all information is structured and ready for presentations/reviews.

• Double-check parts before release (verifying design intent and engineering feasibility).
