Responsibilities 

Design & Development

• Collaborate with central engineering teams to define best-practice testing solutions.
• Support the definition of test specifications and contribute to PFMEA activities.

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

• Participate in FAT at supplier sites to validate equipment and process compliance.
• Review and sign off FAT results, ensuring readiness for installation.

Installation & Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

• Support line installation and commissioning, focusing on:
• Process capability and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
• Correct definition and application of testing parameters
• Document and sign off SAT results.
• Create and maintain work instructions and PFMEA documentation.

Ramp-Up & Production Support

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for battery testing processes.
• Reduce scrap and optimize cycle times through data-driven analysis.
• Implement engineering changes and support quality improvements.
• Monitor technical availability and ensure smooth production handover.
• Lead development of production processes and checks.
• Support Production Engineers during ramp-up.
• Troubleshoot products and equipment when issues arise and implement containment and corrective actions.

Requirements 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or other related field.
• Strong understanding of battery testing principles, including cell and high-voltage pack testing.
• Functional knowledge of coding (Python, C++), prefferably with some hands on projects.
• Experience with with various testing tools and communication protocols – CAN, Vector tools, UDS protocols etc.
• Understanding of EPLAN and battery testing setups, protocols, and tools.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work on-site in a dynamic team environment.

It's beneficial if you have :

• Experience from high-volume automotive production
• Experience working with highly automated equipment 
• Previous experience in battery or electrical equipment testing
