As a Battery System Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the HV Battery Systems specification, integration and validation across all Bugatti Rimac programs
Working across Battery Engineering, Powertrain, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Homologation and Aftersales teams, you will lead the definition, integration and validation of HV Battery Systems from concept phase to series production, ensuring safe, compliant, manufacturable and high-performance battery solutions that meet vehicle targets.

Where you’ll make an impact
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary HV Battery Systems team across mechanical, HV/LV, thermal and BMS engineering.
- Own the HV Battery System architecture from concept definition through feasibility studies, system analysis and detailed development.
- Define, deploy and maintain functional and hardware requirements for HV and LV battery subsystems.
- Drive cross-functional integration with Powertrain, Vehicle Integration and other R&D teams to achieve vehicle-level requirements.
- Lead design release activities, supplier alignment and component readiness, ensuring manufacturability, investment and piece-cost targets are met.
- Coordinate validation, homologation, End of Line and aftersales requirements to ensure robust delivery into production.
- Lead DFMEA and IFMEA activities, supporting malfunction analysis, mitigation definition and implementation.
- Support Functional Safety concept development, technical safety concept deployment, verification and sign-off in line with ISO 26262.
- Coach, develop and share knowledge across the battery and wider powertrain team, creating a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
What are your core components
- 8+ years of experience in automotive or automotive component suppliers, ideally on HV electrical powertrain or battery systems.
- Strong knowledge of HV Battery System architecture, requirements definition, integration and validation.
- Experience delivering HV powertrain or battery systems from early concept phase to production launch.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate mechanical, electrical, cooling, BMS, simulation and validation activities.
- Knowledge of vehicle legislation, certification, homologation and safety requirements for HV automotive systems.
- Experience with design release processes, CAD management tools such as 3DX, suppliers and component readiness tracking.
- Excellent team player and communicator, able to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines

Salary range: €67 500 – €102 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
