Get in the driver's seat

As a Concept Technical Lead you will be responsible to coordinate the cross-functional process for developing the concept engineering of future Bugatti and Rimac cars.

Working within the Concept team and across all the other functions, including Design studio and all engineering departments, you will lead the full concept engineering development until the Concept freeze, for the assigned program and in strong connection with the Chief Vehicle Engineer.  Starting from the early product brief and compliant with the cycle plan strategy, you will drive the crossfunctional definition of the architectural layout and style convergence with Design studio, ensuring a robust engineering foundation for new future projects, preserving and renewing the DNA of the world's most exclusive hypercars.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Manage the hardpoints definition in the early phase and monitor their adherence during the style and engineering development
• Lead the relation with Design, supported by Concept and Engineering teams, by providing technical inputs and feedbacks to enable a feasible Style

• Coordinate the cross-functional engineering team during the concept phase.
• Challenge both Engineering and Design Teams to come up with the best solution for the Program, meet the Concept goals and pursue vehicle targets for cost, quality, and timing.
• Lead the virtual release process of the Program till Concept Freeze
• Implement in the assigned programs the commonality strategy consistent with the Cycle plan
• Support the Attribute Owners and the Chief Vehicle Engineer in the Target setting process definition

• Confirm functional design to achieve attribute targets and lead Concept issues tracking and management

What are your core components

• 10 yrs Previous Experience in Automotive Concept Engineering
• Proven ability to generate and execute Concept development plan according to gateway and virtual releases deliverables, tracking it with proper kpi. Concept selection process supported by rigorous technical feasibility studies and risk assessment, including engineering and business perspective.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, materials, manufacturing processes and design integration. Familiarity with regulatory and legal requirements impacting vehicle homologation.
• Familiarity with CAD systems (preferably Dassault 3dx) and other automotive engineering tools is a plus.
• Ability to lead presentation to senior leadership, stakeholders and support strategic decisions about directions of the program.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving skills and teamworking attitude. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced development environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field

Salary range: €55 000 – €72 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
