As an Embedded Hardware Librarian, your main job will be to support embedded hardware engineering team with development of hardware components for Bugatti Rimac. You will work in dynamic and supportive environment with experienced and ambitious engineers on high-end state-of-the-art projects utilizing latest technologies in respective fields and automotive industry.

Your task will be to build and maintain electronic components, template and product database within Altium 365 platform. This includes designing and updating symbols and footprints for various components, checking and defining component parameters, validating components to be used in the design, creating and maintaining templates, familiarizing with IPC and other industry standards, building knowledge on reliable design and more.

 

Where you’ll make an impact

 

  • Building and maintaining Altium 365 database including component symbols and footprints, templates, product database and more, all according to relevant IPC standards
  • Working on supporting tasks related to Altium 365 like finding solutions to Altium bugs that have impact on the database, communication with provider (Altium itself or local distributor) in order to resolve issues and support designers to use the database and Altium in general efficiently
  • Management of Altium licenses
  • Establishing and maintaining relevant processes
  • Defining general documentation templates
  • Writing relevant guidelines and procedures

 

What are your core components

 

  • Three or more years of post-faculty experience with electronic hardware design and/or electronic component database management
  • Basic experience with IPC standards with ambition to dive in deeper, learn more and apply findings in practice
  • Experience with Altium Designer and/or Altium 365
  • Basic understanding of the general automotive electrical architecture and the typical electrical devices inside of a car is desirable
  • Experience with the mechanical integration of PCBs in the enclosures and the ability to understand mechanical and thermal requirements
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, young and energetic team with other hardware, software, mechanical and system engineers
  • Proactive and result oriented attitude and will to help and teach others
  • Ability to react fast and create solutions

Salary range: €37 500 – €62 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
