As an Embedded Software Development Team Lead you will lead and grow a team of embedded software engineers delivering AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR software for automotive ECUs.
Working across Systems, Hardware, Validation and Architecture teams, you will own sprint planning, technical leadership and delivery commitments, ensuring high-quality, on-time software releases.

Where you’ll make an impact
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, managing direct reports
- Drive development of embedded software across AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR platforms
- Own sprint planning, backlog management and workload balancing in Jira
- Review software architecture, design and code for quality and maintainability
- Coordinate integration activities with Systems, Hardware, Validation and Architecture teams
- Drive root-cause analysis, technical decision-making and continuous process improvement
- Actively participate in embedded software development activities on the feature scope covered by your team
What are your core components
- 5+ years automotive embedded software experience, incl. 2+ years leading teams
- Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive or Systems Engineering (or similar).
- Skill: Embedded C/C++, Model Based Development & AUTOSAR/non-AUTOSAR architectures.
- Skill: Team leadership, sprint planning & Agile delivery management.
- Tool / method: Jira, Git, CI/CD, CAN/LIN/Ethernet toolchains, Vector toolchain, Mathworks toolchain, provisional IDEs, Requirements & Traceability tools, Diagnostics & Calibration tools, Embedded SW testing tools, Simulation environments..
- Behavior / mindset: People leadership combined with hands-on technical ownership.
- Ability to read and review electrical schematics, ECU pinouts and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with system‑level debugging using logs, traces and measurement tools (e.g. CANoe, CANape, oscilloscopes, data loggers).
Nice to have ones
- ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE knowledge
- Experience in an automotive OEM, Tier 1, motorsport or low volume performance EV / Hybrid programmes.
- Background in control systems or vehicle dynamics and their implementation in ECUs.
- Experience with data analysis (Python, Matlab or similar) for test and vehicle data.

Salary range: €55 000 – €72 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
