As a Jigs and fixture designer, you will  work on designing, creating and delivering equipment and tooling for various production departments and multiple vehicle programs . 
Working across Manufacturing engineering , Production , Quality,Procurement and many other areas ,you will  drive the development and industrialization of all necessary jigs , tools or fixtures for multiple projects ,ensuringa successful validation and implementation within a necessary timeframe and production areas .

Where you’ll make an impact 

  • Design and detailing of production fixtures, gauges, and assembly aids. 

  • Supporting new product introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing tooling solutions.  

  • Optimizing tooling for safety, ergonomics, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.  

  • Collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.  

  • Managing tooling projects from concept through manufacturing, assembly, testing, and implementation  

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, BOMs, and design standards. 

  • Supporting tooling trials, validation, and continuous improvement activities on the production floor. 

  • Evaluating new materials, manufacturing methods, and technologies to improve tooling performance and cost. 

 

What are your core components 

  • Proficient in 3D modelling and 2D technical drawings preferably Catia,3DX) 

  • Knowledge/experience in tooling, locating, clamping, and manufacturing fixture design principles. 

  • Ability to identify issues and develop practical engineering solutions.  

  • Understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and production processes 

  • Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 

  • Ability to work effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering  and procurement teams. 

  • Passion for improving products, processes, and manufacturing efficiency. 

  • Focus on precision, tolerances, manufacturability, and reliable tooling performance.

Salary range: €37 500 – €55 000 gross per year (depending on experience)
