1. Tasks:

Regular tasks:

  • Coordinate the build of pre-production vehicles through the process, ensuring prompt issue resolution via robust problem solving techniques.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration and manage introduction & tracking of containments (ie. Job Cards/Deviations, parts check events, documentation for build, etc).
  • Implement process improvements build related activities and automatization of data reporting, from VP to SOP+6mth (and beyond if necessary)
  • Drive resolution of cross functional issues raised in Itineris/JIRA
  • Dashboard creation and KPI monitoring for Launch team.
  • Actively drive the teams to achieve targets and Act as communication bridge between departments.

 

 

Occasional tasks:

  • Assisting superiors with other launch related activities where required
  • Lead start up / washup meetings for new issues and build progress  
  • Support End of line reviews for cross functional issues and drive issue resolution

 

 

2. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deviation tracking and completion during build phases
  • Responsible for process writing and upkeep for launch
  • Responsible for the upkeep and creation of launch dashboards
  • Responsible for escalating topics to senior team where required prior to effect on production status
  • Preparing reports for senior review, while supporting the operational team to deliver Launch successfully
  • Undertake any other work as directed by the line manager in connection with the job
  • Escalate topics to management where required
  • Propose procedures and processes to develop and implement best practices and increase efficiency
  • Approval of containments and delegation of tasks to affected areas

 

 

3. Required skills and competencies

  • Fluent English in spoken and written form, good communication skills. Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
  • Good skilled in organization, supplier management, and project planning. Knowledge of vehicle build and development processes and deliverables is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, in an integrated collaborative team environment, including daily interactions with technicians, engineers and managers to meet deadlines and goals
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other relevant packs relevant to the business (PowerBI, etc)
  • Good working knowledge of issue resolution techniques and management (Itineris, JIRA)
  • Relevant previous experience of Launch / Manufacturing
