Regular tasks:​

• Lead and guide the commodity team’s supplier management, including active management of strategic suppliers and high priority items​
• Oversee the procurement of production materials and serve as the first escalation point for the Buyers.​
• Manage the end-to-end RFQ process and ensure accurate transactions ​
• Identify suppliers who meet product and service needs, lead negotiations on key accounts and guide junior team members​
• Place Purchase Orders and solve administrative topics​
• Collect and analyze data to assess and improve performance​
• Solve payment issues with Accounts
• Aid development of best procurement practices ​
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the Procurement Buyers and other junior team members. Serve as the first escalation point for procurement issues.​
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for production materials. Ensure all materials meet quality standards and specifications.​
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.​
• Monitor and manage the cost of materials. Implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.​

Required skills and competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree ​
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office ​
  
• Internal/external customer focused ​
  
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively​
  
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.​
  
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.​
  
• Excellent skills in written & spoken English​
  
• Driving license: B category
