Bugatti Rimac, part of the Rimac Group, brings together two forces that have redefined the automotive world. By combining Rimac’s cutting-edge electric performance and innovation with Bugatti’s 110+ year legacy of crafting iconic hypercars, we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive engineering.

Our team is at the core of this, we work with passion, aim for excellence, and take ownership of what we do. We grow together, pioneer solutions, and deliver vehicles that set new standards.

Get in the driver's seat.

As a Lightweight Expert, you will work cross-functionally to develop and deliver weight-optimized solutions aligned with overall vehicle performance targets. You will collaborate closely with Program, Functions, Concept, Attributes, and CAE teams to define and implement optimal strategies across architecture, materials, integration, and technologies, ensuring best-in-class engineering solutions for mass efficiency.

Working across all R&D functional areas, you will lead the identification and deployment of advanced lightweight technologies. This includes driving the integration of functions, adoption of innovative materials and manufacturing processes, and ensuring solutions are balanced against product requirements, cost, and performance targets.

You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, building strong relationships across the business and contributing to a holistic vehicle-level optimization approach. This role offers significant opportunities for both technical development and cross-functional leadership growth.

You will love this role if you thrive on solving complex engineering challenges and influencing vehicle performance through smart, system-level lightweight design. Also, if you are driven to challenge conventional engineering, embrace innovation, and redefine what lightweight performance means.
