As a Powertrain Structural Integrity Engineer, you will support simulation activities related to structural strength and durability of powertrain components. Working with design, testing and simulation teams, you will contribute to reliable and robust engineering solutions.

Where you’ll make an impact 

  • Perform structural integrity and durability analyses of powertrain components
  • Assess components under mechanical and thermal loads
  • Support concept and design phases with structural evaluations
  • Interpret simulation results and provide clear engineering recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system-level consistency
  • Support testing, correlation activities and validation strategies
  • Prepare and present high-quality technical reports and reviews

 

What are your core components 

  • 3-7 years of experience in structural integrity and durability simulation for powertrain systems
  • Knowledge of mounting systems design, fatigue, crash loads and topology optimization
  • Experience with explicit solvers and subsystem crash simulations
  • Proficiency with FEA tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
  • Ability to mentor and support junior engineers

Salary range: €37 500 – €57 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
