Get in the driver's seat 

As a Quality Chemical Engineer, you will drive the development and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with chemical regulations and safety standards across the organization. 
Working across Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, EHS, and Corporate Functions, you will strengthen quality culture and support the safe introduction of materials and manufacturing processes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Where you’ll make an impact 

• Ensure compliance with REACH, CLP, Croatian legislation, and other applicable chemical regulations, supporting safe and compliant chemical management across the organization. 

• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical inventories, labels, and documentation related to hazardous materials 

• Organize and monitor chemical safety training programs, ensuring employees are qualified to handle and store chemicals safely.  

• Provide technical guidance to management and departments regarding hazardous chemicals, risk mitigation, and environmental protection requirements. 

• Perform chemical safety assessments and facility reviews to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards. 

• Support sustainability initiatives through responsible chemical management and continuous improvement of environmental practices. 

What are your core components 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline. 

• Professional experience managing chemical materials, chemical compliance, or hazardous substances within an industrial or manufacturing environment 

• Knowledge of chemical regulations and compliance requirements, including REACH, CLP, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, storage, and disposal requirements. 

• Understanding of EHS principles, workplace chemical safety requirements, and environmental protection practices. 

• Ability to analyze quality and compliance data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions. 

• Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to support and educate employees across different departments. 

• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. 

• Experience in the automotive industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment is considered an advantage. 

• Fluent in Croatian and English.
