Get in the driver's seat

As a Concept Expert you will lead the development of technical concepts for bespoke customer commissions. 
Working across multiple special projects ranging from unique customer requests to complete vehicle transformations, you will be responsible for translating ideas into feasible engineering proposals, balancing customer aspirations, design intent, technical feasibility, timing, cost and brand requirements, ensuring concepts are robust, manufacturable and aligned with program objectives before entering detailed engineering development.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Develop technical concepts for customer-specific and one-off vehicle projects
• Define project scope, assumptions, risks and technical requirements
• Coordinate concept studies across Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Suppliers
• Prepare technical presentations and recommendations for management review
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies early in project development
• Support engineering teams through concept maturation and project handover

What are your core components

• Proven technical competence in Automotive Engineering
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, manufacturing processes and product development
• Experience in concept development, feasibility studies and engineering problem solving
• CAD and PLM understanding (CATIA / 3DX desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and structured thinking capability
