Work tasks:

Regular tasks:

• Performing vehicle tests in proving ground (national/abroad) and calibrating brake control system (or other active system) in order to meet the performance targets (vehicle dynamics, comfort and safety)
• Tracking the quality process (traceability, specification, validation) for calibration and issue fixing
• Preparing complete documentation in advance of various milestones​
• Reporting after each test session and communicating about it internally and externally​
• Elaborating the physical and virtual test calibration/validation plan for SW release with the Team Lead and executing it​
• Investigating the code and determining the link with the physical behavior​
• Working with suppliers during meetings and joint tests​
• Providing support to vehicle debugging

Occasional tasks:

• Creating or updating test procedures to describe calibration and test activities​

• Collaborating with the test team​

• Creating tools for better and quicker log analysis

Responsibilities:

• Issue resolving: logging, fix validating and reporting ​

• Following guidelines provided by Team Leads​

• Suggesting technical or process improvement​

• Developing innovative solution 

• Participating in weekly meeting with the team and Team Leads​

• Alignment and shared decisions

Required skills and competences:

• Good understanding of mecatronic system, embedded SW and vehicle dynamic​
• Understanding the final customer expectations​
• Understanding of the code and its link with the physical behavior ​
• Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink​
• Knowledge of general testing and data analysis (Vector, Racelogic, Matlab, Dewesoft or similar)​
• Fluency in English, ​
• Good communication skills, commitment, open-mindedness, flexibility and curiousity, team spirit (ability to work in a team), pro-activity and helpful attitude

Considered as a plus:

• Experience in working with suppliers (follow up meeting, issue tracking…)​
• Experience in brake engineering : brake actuation, modulation and foundation ​
• Ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems​
• Experience with vehicle calibration or testing  activities​
• Experience in development of various automotive software control systems​
• Experience with vehicle track driving
