1. Tasks:

Regular tasks​

  • Lead the component development of dampers and roll control system to achieve requirements and targets (Package, Performance, Weight, Quality and Cost) across multiple platforms.​

  • Component development plan, DFMEA, DVP and Releases​

  • Support system integration and development​

  • Route Cause analysis and countermeasure definition​

Occasional tasks​

  • Support defining long term strategy of  dampers and roll control system​

  • Methodology and Std for design and develop Suspension System

 

2. Authorities:

Decision-making authorities​

  • Component development plan​

  • Testing procedures and tuning of the component to achieve subjective and objective targets with vehicle dynamics team​

  • Methodology and Design Criteria​

 

Managerial authorities​

  • Manage supplier to deliver technical and quality targets of the system

 

3. Responsibilities:

  • Component definition and development​

  • Component sourcing support​

  • Component release​

  • Achieve component cost, time and weight targets​

  • Technical Sign off Documentation

 

4. Required skills and competencies:

  • System knowledge and proven experience in development
  • Controls Literate
  • Proven Experience in Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics  
  • CAD literate 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
