We are now looking for a motivated System Engineer who will help our current team in the development of complex electric and electronic systems in upcoming hypercars.

While designing E/E architecture the candidate will be in touch with every car system. The workplace is very dynamic and will include many different and interesting tasks, defining system architecture, components, and their interfaces, learning from everyday cooperation with cross-functional teams - all the while having endless fun during vehicle testing at various testing grounds, tracks, and races. You can expect to experience first-hand how the fastest cars in existence are developed and produced.

 

 

1. Responsibilities

  • Breaking down high-level features into systems and sub-systems level requirements
  • Architecture concepts development, systems, and sub-systems functional topology creating
  • Specification and definition of in-vehicle communication networks and hardwired connection during the vehicle development cycle
  • Close cooperation with suppliers in terms of component design, integration and testing
  • Working with other vehicle engineering department areas, mechanical and electrical engineers, in order to understand systems functionality
  • Documenting distributed systems and sub-systems functional requirements using appropriate tools
  • Documenting inputs for wiring harness development team
  • Benchmarking relevant systems

 

2. Requirements

  • Ability to handle all types of electrical signals, low voltage, high voltage power networks and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay...)
  • Ability to understand electrical system architecture
  • Bachelor or higher Degree (EE, Mechatronics or equivalent education)
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Creative problem solver
  • Highly analytical approach to work

 

3. Ideal candidate

  • Experience in automotive or electric vehicles development
  • Experience in communication network development
  • Experience with Vector tools, Matlab/Simulink, Python, Jama or similar requirements tracking tools
  • Understanding of diagnostic protocols like UDS and OBD
  • Previous hands-on experience with Embedded HW or SW development
  • Familiarity with ISO26262
