Responsibilities & Tasks:

 

  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties​​
  • Compiling and updating employee records (digitally and in hard-copy) while keeping human resource information confidential​​
  • Updating changes in employee contracts (annexes and table of payments)
  • Ensuring (de)registration process via health and pension insurance
  • Processing, scanning and archiving HR documentation​​
  • Updating vacation and sick leave information in the HR system
  • Participating in the work and residence permit processes – preparing and sending documentation to local authorities and institutions​​
  • Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, document requests etc.).​​
  • Preparing and sending various employee reports and other necessary statistics such as EU Funding, HSE and similar fields
  • Managing activities for foreigner employees including pre-employment communication, arranging airport pick-up, work permits documentations, documents translation, accommodation arrangement
  • Creating and maintaining administrative policies and work procedures
  • Extensive communication with the payroll team to ensure smooth salary calculation process and other payments
  • Other duties as assigned​

 

 

Preferred Skills & Competencies

 

 

  • Experience in similar administrative roles (minimum of 3 years)
  • BSc in Business Administrations, Business Management, Economy or relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Croatian and English
  • Preferably some knowledge of Croatian Labor and Tax Law
  • Proficient MS Office Skills
  • Highly structured way of working and documenting data
  • Experience working in any HR software is a plus
  • Willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Willingness to grow into a independent individual contributor
