1. Main responsibilities: 

  • Build and lead a high-performance team of motivated controllers and act as a sparring partner to support their growth and professional development 

  • Recruit future team members and create a challenging and attractive working environment 

  • Lead a team of finance business partners translating vehicle development ideas into financially sound and feasible hypercar project cases 

  • Coordinate planning and controlling of R&D costs, capex, pre-series, bill-of-material, production, marketing, sales, after sales and quality costs 

  • Structure cost centers and oversee cost center controlling processes 

  • Derive and negotiate revenue, cost and profit and RoS targets for hypercar vehicle projects and overall Joint Venture 

  • Implement value-oriented budget controlling through budget and target tracking and revenue management measures 

  • Perform deviation analysis and initiate counter measures with vehicle program management and/ or cost center teams 

  • Conceptualize and automate project performance management reports and comment on efficiency improvement measures 

  • Take responsibility to coordinate budget planning and forecasting processes  

  • Manage monthly Bugatti Rimac Group consolidation process 

  • Effectively identify and report strategic and general risks and coordinate discussions of countermeasures with the management 

  • Definition, communication and implementation of controlling standards and requirements and act as a partner with executives and departments across the organization to raise awareness for standard processes   

  • Manage rollout, implementation and maintenance of CO-relevant ERP modules and internal controls (incl. policies and procedures) 

  • Lead finance projects and support department projects with focus on controlling topics and performance reporting  

  • Be an ambassador of end-to-end process thinking and documentation 

 

2. Qualifications: 

  • University degree in Finance / Business Administration with focus on finance and accounting, or equivalent qualification 

  • 10+ years of experience in multinational automotive controlling 

  • Relevant proven track record abroad would be an advantage 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ of leadership experience 

  • Well-versed with ERP (Infor is a plus) and state-of-the-art controlling tools 

  • Experience in business case calculation and financial structuring of (vehicle) profitability analyses  

  • Controlling/ financial analysis experience within a company focused on manufacturing and physical product development would be a big plus 

  • Proven record in advanced Excel, VBA and/or Access knowledge would be beneficial 

  • Ability to work in a fast-changing start-up environment and execute with urgency 

  • Excellent process and structuring skills and high level of dedication and resilience 

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, process and structuring skills 

  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
