1. Tasks:

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets with a focus on accommodating parts individualization requirements
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues related to customization features
• Regular presentation and meeting cadence delivery on product development progress
• Oversee/lead the entire product development lifecycle for body interior parts, with a particular emphasis on individualization features
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing and design teams, to understand customer needs and incorporate personalized elements into body interior components
• Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed models and specifications that accommodate various customization preferences
• Travel to external partners for hands-on work and direct collaboration with manufacturing and testing teams

2. Responsibilities:

• ​​​​​​Create concept feasibility studies based on the available information for any new Individualization request:

                    - Concept method selection and product requirements.
                    - Business Case for the concept (including recurrent cost, CapEx and OpEx)
                    - Effect on Attributes (weight, passive safety…)
                    - Risk and Opportunities on Delivery

• Project manage the technical delivery of several Individualization projects (from single part modifications to full vehicle special editions) to time, cost and quality
• Evaluate and capture all risks related to the concept and define mitigation plans
• Evaluate and capture all opportunities related to the concept and define realization plans
• Regularly report to the general Individualization team any progress, lessons learned, technical and managerial challenges
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

3. Required skills and competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in automotive engineering, with a focus on body interior parts and parts individualization
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and other engineering tools
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
