1. Responsibilities and work tasks

  • Involved in consulting and defining safety standards during design review phase that Engineering should meet and Manufacturing processes in Station reviews.
  • Support and consult all project teams to ensure they meet ergonomic and safety standards in different stages:
    • Product design phase,
    • Process design phase,
    • FAT,
    • SAT.
  • Covering topics such as:
    • weight x frequency calculations,
    • working heights,
    • hand & finger clearances,
    • high voltage,
    • reach assessments,
    • torque reaction,
    • lighting and sound levels,
    • safety measures while handling chemicals, fumes etc.
    • Lock out tag out systems,
  • Coordinate and align with Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection department.
  • Assist with risk assessment tasks.
  • Research and develop improvements for production ergonomic and safety standards.

 

2. Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and systematic approach to work.
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Act and all rulebooks from that Act.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Communicative team player.
  • Dependable and methodical (strict attention to detail).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-organized and goal oriented.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in relevant field of study.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience relevant field.

 

3. Considered as an advantage

  • Experience in Manufacturing.
  • Experience working in the Automotive Industry.
  • Understanding of automotive regulations related to the field.
  • Technical background, either through education or experience
