1. Key duties and responsibilities:

• Defining, verifying and optimizing different concepts and solutions of HV systems for hybrid and electric powertrain using simulation tools
• Interacting with internal customers or suppliers to collect input data for simulation and model buildin
• Establish regular design reviews with cross functional teams
• Support physical testing correlation and prototype parts performance evaluation with virtual models correlation and root cause issues definition
• Maintain and support de-bug activities for current and future electrified powertrains, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Participating in testing and analyzing test data
• Providing suggestions and improvements after analyzing and interpreting simulation and/or experimental data
• Writing technical documents, preparing presentations and communicating the results in efficient manner
• Main reference figure for Powertrain HV Systems simulation activities for feasibility, functionality and resolution of technical issues
• The candidate will be responsible  for the delivery of all High Voltage Systems powertrain simulation related activities across all Bugatti Rimac programs
• Lead powertrain HV Systems simulation activities from early concept phase to development, industrialization and production, either internally or with the support of external service suppliers
• The candidate will be responsible  for the delivery of all High Voltage Systems powertrain simulation related activities across all Bugatti Rimac programs
• Lead powertrain HV Systems simulation activities from early concept phase to development, industrialization and production, either internally or with the support of external service suppliers
• Support to the testing team and to BR programs for targets setting and resolution of technical issues
• Support physical testing and prototype evaluation of HV Powertrain hardware components on component level, system level and vehicle level
• Support the calibration and testing activity on MiL (Model in the loop), SiL (Software in the Loop), calibration and testing activity on the HiL (Hardware in the loop), hybrid PWT rig and vehicle calibration and testing

2. Qualification & Experience:

•     Working knowledge of HV Systems power unit and vehicle architectures and components
•     Previous experience in HV systems simulation, possibly within an automotive OEM or OEM tier 1 supplier or Motorsport
•     Engineering Degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent
•     Working across functional teams effectively to deliver viable problem resolution
