1. Regular tasks:

•Predicting and analyzing powertrain components loads, stresses and dynamics

•Defining, verifying and optimizing different concepts, structures and solutions for hybrid and electric powertrain designs using simulation tools 

•Interacting with internal customers or suppliers to collect input data for simulation and model building

•Optimizing and validating structural parts and systems

•Participating in testing and analyzing test data

•Providing suggestions and improvements after analyzing and interpreting simulation and/or experimental data

•Writing technical documents, preparing presentations and communicating the results in efficient manner

 

2. Responsabilities:

•Main reference figure for Powertrain Structural Analysis simulations

•The candidate will be responsible for the definition, optimization and validation of the design of structures for electric and hybrid powertrain across all Bugatti-Rimac projects

•Support to the testing team and to BR programs for targets setting and resolution of technical issues

•Lead the evaluation of the design of Powertrain hardware components on component level, system level and vehicle level

 

3. Required skills and competencies

•Working knowledge of power unit and vehicle architectures and components

•Previous experience in FEM analysis, possibly within an automotive OEM or OEM tier 1 supplier or Motorsport, or aerospace

•Engineering Degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent

•Working across functional teams effectively to deliver viable problem resolution
