Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for indirect goods and services, including sourcing, negotiating, and contract management in line with company procedures 
• Handle purchase orders (PO creation and dispatch to suppliers, delivery follow-up, PO tracking, and reporting) 
• Supporting in defining commodity strategies 
• Facilitate effective communication and relationships between internal stakeholders (requesters, warehouse, accounting, legal…) and the purchasing department  
• Address issues related to non-supplied, under-ordered, over-ordered, and damaged goods 
• Managing contracts together with legal department and other related stakeholders in accordance with company policies 
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best pricing and service levels 
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements 
• Identify alternative suppliers in line with defined standards 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations 
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, savings, and supplier performance 
• Meet department and company goals and KPIs 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in indirect categories (manufacturing related)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills 
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with a positive can-do attitude 
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement software is a plus 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
