MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coordinate process participants to follow change management process for product and process changes in project and serial phase​ 

  • Identify non-conform change requests (change coordinator needs to identify change requests, which not have been processed according process – e.g. workflow skipped, customer notification not conducted etc.)​ 

  • Report change management metrics/KPIs to owners ​(report to project coordinator for project phase report to project series production lead in serial phase) 

  • Assign change requests to correct process participants according change management process and substance of change ​(e.g. drawing change to be assigned to PDL)​ 

  • Support departments in evaluation of changes (esp. for cross-functional changes, causing product and process change)​ 

  • Analyse change request processing​ 

  • Create monthly change management report ​(according to IT system workflow – e.g. open change request, pending change requests, closed etc.)​ 

  • Support continuous improvement of change management process and change management workflow in iT system (e.g. JIRA)​ 

  • Conduct cost tracking acc. defined change request budget 

  • Key role in deviation (containment) management. Manage Launch-Coordinator and Change manager to deliver with the team rapid response to build issues and robust containments and proposals for permanent solutions. 

  • Lead best practice within the organisation.  

  • Develop company processes and lessons learnt for future programs 

  • Other duties as assigned

SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR ROLE 

  • Lead role in defining the decision to introduce change. Neutral between departments to define the requirement that is best for the business. 

  • Able to present at senior levels, knowledge of escalation processes. 

  • Requires a mindset focused on the end goal of delivery on vehicle. Attention to detail is essential 

  • Key role in the organisation with direct reporting to senior management level. 

  • Prepared to go the extra mile to ensure delivery 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience of 2 or more years of change management experience, preferably as a change manager or a program in a relating position. 

  • Experience and knowledge of Engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one commodity.  

  • Ability to evaluate engineering solutions, logical mindset with a clear understanding automotive standards to be able to steer cross functional teams. 

  • Significant experience and demonstrable track record of dealing with major issues during a launch phase. Ability to re-calculate plans, dynamic logical thinker open to new ideas and potential solutions. 

  • Know when to delegate and when to take ownership, where to steer individuals even when at same level or senior in organisation to achieve the main goal of successful launch 

  • Computer literate with excellent presentation skills to senior management level. 

  • Can communicate convincingly and professionally to management. 

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE 

  • Practical knowledge and experience in at least one commodity (Electrical/Exterior/Interior/Composites/Chassis) 

  • Practical knowledge and experience in dealing with change issues and deviations, supporting all areas of business. 

  • Knowledge of Quality standard processes. Audit process, Route cause analysis, 5 Why, 6 Sigma. Working knowledge expert not necessary for role. To be able to evaluate reports received. 

  • IT skills including Microsoft Office and custom applications. 

  • Advanced English level

  • Experience with JIRA is a nice-to-have

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with ability to communicate all levels 

  • Excellent organizational skills.
