Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and coordinate the Embedded Software Team with the responsibility for feature delivery from concept to series production for multiple domain controllers
  • The team is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control system strategies and features for different domains
  • Work closely with across departments to define hardware and software platforms, requirements, and architecture for implementing control solutions
  • Develop and support verification, validation, and integration strategy
  • Define activities, tasks, and priorities for the entire team. Allocate resources to multiple projects
  • Define internal roadmap for feature content development
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary research, development, and engineering environment

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Masters or PhD in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Automotive, Automation & Controls, or Software Engineering, preferably with coursework focused on automotive application
  • At least 7 years of experience in automotive for controls systems and in-house software development
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive for a team lead role
  • Experience with model-based design in Matlab Simulink and Stateflow tools
  • Experience with C/C++ language sw development
  • Experience with Auto-Code generation development using Matlab embedded coder or dSpace Targetlink or similar tools
  • Experience developing software test plans and implementing software unit testing and integrated testing using MIL, SIL, and HIL environments
  • Experience with AUTOSAR/MICROSAR Classic stack
  • Experience with Vector tooling (DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Developer, CANoe, vTT, vFlash etc.)
  • Experience with “in-vehicle” integration and testing activities
  • Experience with control system development according to ISO-26262
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, takes responsibility for delivering results with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle electronic architecture
  • Experience with SW development according to the A-spice process and V-model development cycle
  • Experience with Agile SW development methodology and tools
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Experience in embedded software development and RTOS
  • Knowledge of ECU hardware
  • Experience in complex device driver development
  • Experience with troubleshooting/debugging tools as well as lab equipment (ex: oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters)
