At Rimac Energy we are currently seeking an experienced sales manager ideally located in the UK (Warwick/Oxford) or in Croatia (Zagreb). The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with key customers in the utility-scale energy storage sector, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving our objective to create tangible social and environmental impact.

 

Responsibilities

 

Specific job responsibilities will be adapted to the candidate but will generally include:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the utility-scale energy storage market.
  • Build strong relationships with potential customers, including utilities, project developers, investors, energy service providers, and other large-scale customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and customer needs and use this knowledge to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure that products meet customer needs.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and developing long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay ahead of market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales in the utility-scale energy storage market, with a proven track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of the utility-scale energy storage market, with a passion for new and emerging energy technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions that meet those needs.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.
