Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the Group-wide Risk Management System (RMS) in line with COSO ERM 2017 and ISO 31000, including newly acquired entities through M&A
- Own and maintain Corporate RMS Guidelines, Group Risk Catalogue, Entity Risk Registers, and the Consolidated Group Risk Register
- Lead the full COSO ERM cycle: objective setting, risk identification, assessment, response, control activities, communication, and reporting
- Facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with Key Risk Champions (KRCs) and develop the unified Group Risk Appetite Framework for Senior Board approval
- Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise, compliance, ESG, and climate risks (physical and transition) across all in-scope entities
- Integrate ESG and climate risks into ERM in alignment with TCFD, ISSB (IFRS S1/S2), CSRD/ESRS E1, and Paris Agreement goals, including forward-looking scenario analysis
- Analyze risk data, trends, KPIs, and scenario outputs to support strategic decision-making and escalation of critical risks
- Prepare consolidated risk reporting for Management Board, Audit Committee, and Supervisory Board, including heat maps, top risks, trend analysis, and risk appetite adherence
- Deliver accurate risk inputs to CSRD sustainability statements, ESG disclosures, shareholder questionnaires, and integrated compliance reporting
- Coordinate closely with Compliance, ESG, Legal, and Audit functions; eliminate parallel reporting and ensure integrated governance
- Lead entity onboarding from a risk perspective, oversee the KRC network, and drive a strong, risk-aware culture across the Group
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Risk Department team, including hiring, performance oversight, and continuous capability building
- Ensure RMS readiness for ISO 37301 certification and continuous improvement of enterprise risk practices
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in enterprise risk management, including COSO ERM, ISO 31000, and governance best practices
- Strong knowledge of compliance, legal, regulatory, operational, financial, ESG, and climate risk frameworks and methodologies
- Proven experience integrating ESG and climate risks into ERM, including TCFD, ISSB, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and scenario analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional workshops, engage senior stakeholders, and influence decision-making at Board level
- Experience managing consolidated risk registers, KPIs, thresholds, and data-driven risk reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex risk data into clear, actionable insights
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and entities
- High level of accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail in reporting and governance deliverables
