Responsibilities:

• Identification and implementing of safety measures to ensure safe operation of high-voltage battery systems.
•  Identifying potential failure modes and weaknesses in high-voltage battery systems and implementing robustness measures to enhance system reliability and durability.
• Defining high-voltage systems with built-in fault tolerance to ensure continued operation in the event of component failures or system faults.
• Conducting comprehensive testing of safety and robustness features to ensure effectiveness, reliability, and compliance with automotive safety standards.
•  Creating detailed technical documentation, including safety requirements specifications, hazard analyses, robustness assessments, and validation reports, to document the design, development, and validation of safety and robustness features.
• Continuously monitoring safety and robustness performance, analyzing failure data, and identifying opportunities for improvement in high-voltage battery systems.
• Ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards and regulations relevant to high-voltage battery systems, such as ISO 26262 for functional safety, UN ECE R100 for high-voltage safety, and automotive EMC standards.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of automotive standards (such as ISO 26262 for functional safety, UN ECE R100 for high-voltage safety, and automotive EMC standards) and engineering practices
• Minimum 5 years of experience with proven technical and professional skills in job-related area, preferably HV Safety
• Strong technical background and relevant experience in Engineering departments of automotive companies 
• Understanding of Manufacturing technologies product creation process and R&D methods
• Experience with JIRA and Agile Framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
