As part of our World Class Purchasing organisation, you will be responsible for working in partnership with Business Managers and Finance teams to deliver Services, Capital Acquisitions, and Business requirements on-time to cost.

1.Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of suppliers and commodities to deliver services and products on-time, to cost, quality and performance targets.

• Identify Suppliers capable of meeting our exacting standards for cost, quality and performance.

• Lead the selection, nomination and contracting of new suppliers.

• Drive annual cost down programs for your commodity base

• Drive annual supplier rationlisation programs to reduce supply base complexity and deliver improved cost performance

• Develop and manage long term supplier relationships based on mutual success.

• Produce monthly KPI’s to demonstrate commercial and operational improvements

• Continue to develop and improve procurement processes and systems based on best in practice.

2. Required skills and competencies:

• Degree level education

• Experience in In-Direct procurement within a manufacturing environment.

• Proven track record of cost and performance improvements

• Working knowledge and proficiency in ERP system and Microsoft Office 

• Internal/external customer focused 

• Able to work independently and manage time effectively

• Results driven 

• Excellent skills in written & spoken English

• Driving license: B category
