We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Lead for IT Integration within Manufacturing Engineering.  This role requires a methodical engineer who will be responsible for the implementation of a MES system within the existing production floor as well as within the new projects.  

 

1. Responsibilities

 

  • Understand and collect business requirements from internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Logistics, Production, Finances) as well as external (Customer) towards MES  

  • Make sure all the requirements have been fulfilled by the system design 

  • Support line integrators in production line design in a way that full MES integration of the production line is enabled 

  • Validation of the system on a new production line 

  • Troubleshoot on the shopfloor and make sure MES runs smoothly on the production line 

  • Specify and test new system functions, work in continuous improvement of the system 

  • Model, test and maintain master data: BOMs, routings, work instructions and process variables, traceability 

  • Understand the data collected by the system to design and create reports for data analytics 

  • Together with ERP specialist make sure to fully integrate MES with ERP system  

  • Continuous digital transformation of the shop floor activities 

 

 

 

2. Requirements 
 

  • Working in manufacturing with MES software 

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in the relevant field of study 

  • Requires a high level of organizational skills, initiative, ability to work independently, problem-solving attitude 

  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing, process design and assembly methods 

  • Communicative team player 

  • Self-organized and goal-oriented 

  • Strong PC application skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing company 

  • Self-motivated, ability to manage multiple assignments, tasks and priorities, and work with minimal supervision 

  • Strong verbal and written communication, solid presentational skills 

  • Fluent in English 

 

  

3. Considered as an advantage 

 

  • Experience in ERP System 

  • Knowledge in industrial automation 

  • Manufacturing domain is strongly preferred and understanding of other business processes in manufacturing company is a plus 

  • Positive attitude and desire to help others 

  • Desire to learn and explore new technologies
