Responsibilities

  • Support early acquisition concept & solutions (indicative planning & quotation).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives & operational excellence across the total Operations division in collaboration with the respective department leaders.
  • Leading the operational aspect of the Business Plan when collaborating with Corporate Development team to connect Group/Company to Operational Goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enter new markets/ventures for Operations.
  • Engage with other leaders on new Business Cases for Products & Processes.
  • Focus on efficiency & financial improvements to align the team to the top priority.
  • Identify opportunities & gaps in the company/OPS in advance of the needs
  • Bringing in the right emerging trends and technologies in Global Operations.
  • Working with Standardization Team to build Rimac Technology Lean System and embed automotive standards in line with our quality management system.
  • Collaborate w/Process, Methods, Tools team to develop our working methodology
  • Example of Activities to Lead:
  • Production Systems – New technology, principle implementation
  • Supply Chain – Strategic Suppliers, network analytics, material flow imp.
  • Facilities – New geographic market entry, Facility targets, Improvements.
  • Products – make vs buy, upfront BU product feedback – BATT, PWT, BESS
  • Technology – Ind4.0 e.g. digital twin, AR/VR, Big Data, AI implementation
  • Resources - Org structure dev. & Identifying/supporting skill needs/gaps
  • Develop RT towards Operational Excellence in all areas.
  • Industrial Strategy & Footprint Improvement
  • Business & Operations Optimization
  • Operational Partnerships - Industrialization, EMS, Part Supplier
  • Support organizational set up – structure & governance for OPS
  • Efficiently Bring Ideas to Reality
  • Connect CEO Vision, Business Plan, Corporate Strategy & OPS.
  • Define Operational Strategic Direction with Head & COO
  • Drive New Ideas - Lead initial 30% - Collaborate on next 70%.
  • Associate & Sparring Partner for Operations Leadership.
  • ‘Voice’ of Operations in Strategy, Customer, and Group Topics.
  • Lead cross-functional topics within Operations on behalf of COO

 

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of English language
