We are looking for a Senior NVH Engineer who will help us develop state-of-the-art components such as gearboxes, electric motors, battery packs, etc. The candidate should offer innovative and forward-thinking solutions and act pro-actively. The candidate will carry out NVH simulations and analyze the results based on the input from various departments such as powertrain engineering or battery system engineering. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for modeling, technology, and engineering with a background in mechanical/aerospace engineering or applied physics and 5+ years of working experience within the automotive industry.


1. Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of electric powertrain using NVH simulations
  • Noise root-cause analysis – countermeasures development
  • Transfer path calculations
  • Interacting with other departments or suppliers to collect input data for simulation and model building
  • Participating in testing and analyzing test data
  • Providing suggestions and improvements after analyzing simulation and/or experimental data
  • Mentoring
  • Writing technical documents, preparing presentations, and communicating the results to customers


2. Requirements

  • Experience in NVH analysis and simulations with a focus on e-powertrain
  • Experience with one or more NVH simulation tools (Actran, Masta, Romax, Adams, CST, AVL Excite, CST Suite or Manatee)
  • Optional: experience with different electromagnetic simulations
  • Knowledge of structural mechanics, material models, metals, composites, plastics
  • Experience with vibroacoustic testing is considered is preferable
  • Commitment to the project plan and promised deliverables
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace or similar filed
  • 5+ years of experience with NVH simulations
  • Relevant experience in the automotive industry
  • Fluent spoken and written English
