About us

Rimac Energy is the energy storage division of Rimac Group, the Croatian technology company behind the world's fastest electric hypercar and industry-leading EV powertrain technology. Rimac Energy applies that same performance engineering to grid-scale battery storage, developing the SineStack Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) alongside an in-house Battery Management System and Battery Intelligence software platform. Headquartered in Zagreb with an innovation site in Witney, UK, the team is scaling fast as it moves from pilot projects to large-scale deployments across Europe.

That growth means hiring at pace across engineering and commercial teams, often for specialised profiles that are scarce in the market. As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be responsible for finding the people who will design, build, and deploy our storage systems, and for making sure every candidate has a good experience with us, whether or not they join.

The Role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to own end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of roles across Rimac Energy, from battery, hardware, and software engineers to commercial and project roles. You'll work as a genuine partner to hiring managers: shaping role requirements, advising on the market, sourcing and assessing candidates, and closing offers. Beyond filling today's roles, you'll help build the pipelines, processes, and employer brand that let us hire well as we scale across Croatia and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles — intake, job ad creation, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and handover to onboarding.
  • Run structured intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, selection criteria, and realistic timelines.
  • Screen and assess candidates through interviews and structured evaluation, providing clear recommendations to hiring teams.
  • Manage offer negotiation and closing in line with internal compensation frameworks.

Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, universities, and industry communities.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill profiles, particularly in engineering.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies for selected roles, including briefing, performance tracking, and fee management.

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and candidate availability.
  • Coach interviewers on structured, fair, and consistent interviewing practices.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on pipeline status and hiring progress.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Deliver a responsive, transparent, and professional experience for every candidate, from first contact to final decision.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including careers website content, social media, job fairs, and university partnerships.
  • Gather candidate and hiring manager feedback to continuously improve the recruitment process.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting

  • Own data quality in the applicant tracking system and ensure recruitment processes comply with GDPR and local employment regulations.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recruitment workflows as hiring volume grows.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, in-house or agency, with ownership of full-cycle hiring.
  • Proven track record of hiring technical profiles such as hardware engineers, software developers, or other specialist technical profiles.
  • Strong sourcing skills and confidence approaching passive candidates directly.
  • Ability to build credible, influential relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in Croatian and English (written and spoken).
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple open roles in parallel without losing quality or pace.

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting in the energy, automotive, or battery sectors.
  • Experience hiring across multiple countries, particularly Croatia and the UK.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics.
  • Exposure to employer branding or university relations programs.
