As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop and integrate embedded software for automotive ECUs. Working across Software, Systems, Hardware, Integration and Validation teams, you will deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and project requirements.

  • Experience: Automotive embedded software development.
  • Skill: Embedded C/C++, Model Based Development & AUTOSAR.
  • Skill: RTOS, debugging & software integration.
  • Skill: UDS/XCP, CI/CD knowledge.
  • Tool / method: Git, Vector tools, CAN/LIN diagnostics, Mathworks toolchain, provisional IDEs.
  • Behavior / mindset: Problem-solving and teamwork

 

Nice to have

  • Experience in automotive Cybersecurity
  • Basic knowledge of functional safety and automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE) is an advantage.
  • Experience in an automotive OEM, Tier 1, motorsport or low volume performance EV / Hybrid programmes.
  • Familiarity with automotive E/E architecture, automotive systems and components (EV powertrain, ICE powertrain, energy management, chassis, body, infotainment, diagnostics, etc.), familiarity with automotive communication protocos (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).
  • Background in control systems or vehicle dynamics and their implementation in ECUs.
  • Experience with data analysis (Python, Matlab or similar) for test and vehicle data.

Salary range: €37 500 – € 62 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
