As a Powertrain Structural Integrity & Dynamics Simulation Expert, you will lead advanced simulation activities related to powertrain structural integrity, dynamics and NVH.
Working across powertrain, vehicle, NVH, and testing teams, you will ensure robust and reliable simulation-driven development, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely engineering solutions.

Where you’ll make an impact

Lead advanced simulation activities for powertrain structural integrity, dynamics and NVH

Perform structural and dynamic assessments under operational, vibrational and durability loads

Conduct subsystem-level explicit crash simulations for powertrain structures

Analyze mounting systems including fatigue, crash performance and topology optimization

Support concept phases with structural and dynamic performance targets definition

Interpret simulation results and provide clear engineering recommendations

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system-level consistency

Support testing, correlation activities and validation strategies

Prepare and present high-quality technical reports and reviews
What are your core components
-
5–10 years of experience in structural dynamics, durability and NVH simulation for powertrain systems

Strong expertise in modal analysis, flexible body dynamics and driveline multibody systems
-
Experience in torsional vibration, rotating machinery and vibro-acoustic behavior
-
Knowledge of mounting systems design, fatigue, crash loads and topology optimization

Experience with explicit dynamics and subsystem crash simulations
-
Proficiency with CAE tools (FEA, MBD, explicit solvers)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments

Ability to mentor and support junior engineers

Salary range: €67 500 - 102 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
